About Us
Due to continued year-on-year success and ambitious expansion plans, gasworld, the leading global resource for industrial gas news, insights, and information, is seeking an Account Executive to join our sales team.
This is a professional B2B sales role within an established and highly successful business. While prior experience in high-value advertising or media sales is desirable, it is not essential. With realistic first-year earnings of £35k - £40k OTE and £40k+ in year two, this role also offers flexible working options and opportunities for international travel.
We provide a collaborative working environment in modern open-plan offices with free parking on the outskirts of Truro. Candidates must live within commuting distance, but hybrid working (two days per week from home) is available after the probation period.
The Role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, driving sales, and identifying new business opportunities within the media and advertising sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Engage with clients via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams to understand their needs.
- Recommend tailored advertising and sponsorship solutions that align with client objectives.
- Negotiate and close deals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize cross-business sales opportunities.
- Attend international industry events to network with clients and generate new business.
- Manage and update sales data within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasting.
- Work towards and exceed revenue targets.
About You

Desirable Experience (Not Essential):
- 1+ year experience in B2B sales, account management, or media/advertising sales.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
