Description: The role of the Senior Manager is to build and manage client relationships, oversee client portfolios, and deliver an outstanding service that enhances the firm’s reputation and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow a small personal portfolio of complex client accounts and corporation tax returns, ensuring exceptional service and the delivery of all actions, deadlines, and client discussions. Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients, directors, and staff. Review team files to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and statutory regulations, identifying and addressing any issues. Manage the Team Leaders and offer support in areas such as training, workflow management, recruitment decisions, fee reviews, WIP management, etc. Support clients with business and personal tax planning where appropriate. Provide industry‑leading insights, advice, and solutions to enhance the firm’s reputation and expand the client base. Drive efficiency and profitability by implementing best practices and leveraging technology. Contribute to strategic and business planning, focusing on increasing revenue and profits. Hold responsibility for managing client relationships ensuring maximum value, quality, and compliance. Complete a personal portfolio of client work, offering expert insights and advice to clients. Manage the Team Leaders with workflow and support with operations.

Key Requirements

Accounting: ACCA/ACA or QBE – mandatory. Ideally 3+ years PQE – practice experience essential. Tax: CTA/ATT would be useful, but not required.
