Location: National – Based out of TI Dynamic Facades HQ, Kirkintilloch, G66 1XQ
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
About Us:
We are a leading supplier of architectural products, specializing in high-quality rainscreen cladding systems, including natural stone, terracotta, brickslips, and GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete). Our business operates through specification sales, and we work closely with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver tailored solutions for high-profile construction projects. We are currently looking for an experienced Architectural Specification Sales Manager or a professional with an Architectural Technologist background to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients, including architects, developers, and contractors, through targeted outreach, networking, and attending industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Product Presentations: Deliver customized product presentations and technical solutions, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our rainscreen cladding systems.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed, accurate proposals tailored to client specifications, ensuring all requirements, pricing, and delivery schedules are met.
- Specification Support: Work with clients to develop specifications and ensure that our products are included in their project specifications.
- Negotiation & Closing Sales: Lead negotiations and close sales, ensuring profitable agreements while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Post-Sales Support: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and resolve any client issues.
- Market Insight & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the architecture and construction industries.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in specification sales within the construction or architectural products sector, ideally with a focus on cladding systems or similar materials.
- Background in architectural technology or building design, with strong technical knowledge of architectural products, specifically rainscreen cladding systems.
- Full UK driving license and a willingness to travel as needed.
- Not afraid to make phone calls and comfortable engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and client accounts.
- Proficient in using CRM systems (experience with Pipedrive is a plus).
