OverviewTipTopJob Tyne And Wear, England, United KingdomArea Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager position in Industrial Electrical Control and Automation with a negotiable salary and benefits package.ResponsibilitiesSell a range of high quality Industrial Automation products (PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI, Process Instrumentation) into OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets.Target and develop business across the South Tyneside / Teesside area, including Middlesbrough, Stockton on Tees, Darlington, Hartlepool, Sunderland and surrounding regions.Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts while identifying new avenues of business.Develop and execute a personal sales plan to achieve defined sales targets; utilize strong organization and communication skills; work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.Maintain knowledge of products and industry trends and apply them to sales opportunities.QualificationsProven track record as a Sales Engineer/Area Sales Manager in Industrial Automation or Electrical Control and Automation.Sales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry; ability to demonstrate knowledge and sales ability even without a formal electrical qualification.ONC/HND (or above) in Electrical/Electronic discipline is desirable but not essential.Strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to develop and manage customer relationships.Employment detailsEmployment type: Full-timeLocation/territory: South Tyne/Teeside area (Middlesbrough, Stockton on Tees, Darlington, Hartlepool, Sunderland and surrounding areas)Employer: Rise Executive Search and Recruitment Ltd (recruitment partner for the role)Note: This advert uses post codes for advertising purposes only.
