OverviewArea Sales Engineer role at TipTopJob, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Field based position selling a range of high quality Industrial Automation products (PLC, Control Gear, Switchgear and Circuit Protection, Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, HMI and Process Instrumentation) into OEM, End User, System Integrator and Panel Builder markets across South Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire (including Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Barnsley, Chesterfield, Worksop).Salary: Good Negotiable Salary dependent upon experience, plus excellent benefits (car, pension, buy/sell holidays, and more).ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a personal sales plan to achieve defined targets and grow an existing portfolio of accounts.Sell a range of Industrial Automation products into OEMs, End Users, System Integrators and Panel Builders within the assigned territory.Identify new business opportunities and channels of growth while maintaining strong relationships with current customers.Demonstrate knowledge of products and applications; communicate effectively with customers and internal teams; work with a level of autonomy and as part of a team.Manage activity using Microsoft packages and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.QualificationsSales and technical experience in the Industrial Automation industry; a formal qualification in Electrical/Electronic discipline to ONC/HND or above is desirable but not essential.Ability to demonstrate knowledge and sales ability if formal qualifications are not present.Strong organisational and communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent software.Additional InformationPost codes used are for advertising purposes only.
