Remuneration: £39,000 + £5,000-£10,000 commission

Benefits: Hybrid company car & benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Blinds & Shutters will involve:

* Field sales position selling a range of blinds and home furnishings

* Selling into independent retailers and direct to the trade via: shutter & blind installers, contractors, independent one man bands and sub-contractors

* Will a inherit a well-established area currently turning over circa £350,000

* Tasked with growing to the area to £750,000 over the next few years

* Customers vary in size from £1,000-£20,000 turnover

* Inheriting 150 customers on patch

* Will be expected to generate new business however the majority of your time will be spent managing existing customers

The ideal applicant will be Area Sales Manager – Blinds & Shutters with:

* Must have field sales experience selling direct to the trade (not B2C or to the public)

* Ideally from the home furnishing sector

* Preferably sold; blinds shutters, curtains, fabrics, upholstery, wall coverings etc.

* Must be able to plan your own diary

* Genuine hunger and tenacity

* Friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm
