Job Description
One of Italy’s leading porcelain tile manufacturers is seeking a sales area Manager based in Manchester to drive project-based sales and foster business growth across the area.
We’re looking for a motivated, well-organized sales professional with a talent for relationship building, business development, and promoting high-quality design products.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Strategy
• Execute the company’s commercial strategy.
• Manage and grow existing client relationships.
• Promote the full portfolio of the company’s brands.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and drive new business.
Specifications & Project Promotion
• Collaborate with clients on major architectural and design projects.
• Build strong relationships within the architecture and design communities.
• Attend industry trade shows, events, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of success factors in the project and contract sectors.
Business Development
• Identify and develop new accounts in currently uncovered areas.
• Explore and establish alternative sales channels.
Qualifications & Skills
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Prior sales experience (preferably in design, architecture, or related industries).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Requirements
• Full-time availability.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the area. Travel Required: ~50%
• Availability to travel periodically to the company’s headquarters in Italy.
• Possession of a valid UK driving license.
