This Position reports to:
Strategic Marketing and Sales Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities, and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. You will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. Building long-term customer relationships and responding promptly to customer needs and issues are key. This role contributes to the Motion Service Sales Division in the Southern Region. Main stakeholders include Direct End Users, Channel Partners, and Internal Channels, Motion Product Divisions.

This position is home-based, reporting to our Daresbury head office.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact:

• Penetrate into IB, promote upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions for customers and ABB.
• Understand channel strategy, establish pricing, prepare and review sales plans, and propose recovery plans when needed.
• Generate service sales leads and explore new market opportunities using market trend information and potential new service portfolios.
• Act as a marketer/salesperson during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
• Support sales and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions, and prepare demanding offers.
• Own specific customer cases to ensure efficient resolution of issues.
• Conduct monthly forecasts, regular status reviews, and propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls.

Qualifications for the Role

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and motors, machines & variable speed drives applications and service across various industrial markets.
• Experience in motors, machines & variable speed drives application and service.
• Passionate about value-based selling and advising customers to make informed decisions about options.
