Area Sales Manager

South UK, Home based


The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering the sales and strategy within the defined territory, sales forecasting reports, and sales pipeline. You be selling a range of technical services across a diverse customer base within the south of the country.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on individual sales performance
  • Work closely with the internal sales teams and technical specialists
  • Proactively generate new business from both Key Accounts and prospects
  • Build sales pipeline for new business opportunities


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree or formal qualifications (ideally in engineering or similar)
  • Minimum of 3-years external technical sales experience
  • Previous industry experience; food, pharma, power, utilities, chemicals etc.
  • Experience of electro-mechanical equipment and systems
