Area Sales Manager - M62 Corridor

Circa £40,000 plus company car and 40% bonus

Are you a driven and passionate sales professional with a knack for building strong relationships? Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading manufacturer who are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team, covering Liverpool to Hull and up towards Newcastle.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and developing sales of products across a diverse range of retail sectors.

Role & Responsibilities: Driving profitable sales growth and increasing brand awareness. Building and maintaining relationships with independent convenience retailers, petrol forecourts, builders’ merchants & DIY centres, garden centres, wholesalers, coal merchants, and more. You will have a small account base, but there will be a strong emphasis on acquiring new accounts, so a hunter mentality is crucial to make this role a success! Manage your territory as if you're running your own business. Extensive travel throughout your territory with occasional visits to Head Office in Yorkshire.

Skills & Experience: A proven track record of sales success within a similar territory. You will be self-motivated and be used to managing your own diary, ensuring excellent time management skills Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication and influencing skills. A persistent and tenacious attitude with the drive to develop both existing customers and seek out new business opportunities. An organised and structured approach to work with good IT literacy. To be considered for this role, you must hold a full UK driving license
