Job Description:

£36,000 - £38,000 + £5,000 bonus + hybrid car, company credit card, fuel card, iPad, mobile, pension and 25 days holiday

Sales area: Southern half of Wales plus Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

Join one of the UK’s leading garden trade suppliers and inherit their top performing sales area. This vacancy has been created as a result of an internal promotion and offers you the opportunity to take a £1 million turnover area with excellent distribution and customer support.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Create and follow an effective journey plan that maximises customer contact.
• Build outstanding relationships within customers at all levels.
• Plan all customer meetings to secure top up orders, range extensions and space wins where possible.
• Adapt through each year to meet the opportunities for pre-season orders, terms negotiation, fixture changes, new ranges, in-season repeat orders and staff training.
• Communicate regularly with the National Sales Manager, Key Accounts Manager and Merchandisers.
• Report weekly against call plan and provide territory feedback.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to maintain their excellent reputation, this company is looking for an experienced Sales Representative who has been dealing with garden centres in this area and has strong personal relationships with key buyers.

We are looking for:

• A home location in Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire or South Wales.
• At least three years of field sales experience calling on garden centres in the region
• A structured and organised approach to field sales. Able to journey plan, time manage and adapt to the changing needs of your customers through the year.
• You should be a strong team player and enjoy regular communication with your colleagues.
• Excellent relationship builder at all levels

Salary/Benefits Information:

The successful candidate will enjoy a basic salary of £36,000 - £38,000 + £5,000 bonus + hybrid car, company credit card, fuel card, iPad, mobile, pension and 25 days holiday.
