Since 2003 Floormart has been a Family run business distributing flooring materials and accessories to the flooring trade. Our operations are based in Leicester, however we ship to our broad range of customers around the country.
Primarily known for our tools, we hold one of the widest portfolios for all kinds of floor layers, some of which we distribute exclusively. We have recently taken on a new facility to expand our range towards materials and accessories so are looking for an experienced sales representative to help us grow our market share and brand within the industry.
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Area Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, driving B2B sales in the midlands, and ensuring exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a keen understanding of IT systems to effectively manage client accounts and deliver tailored solutions.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Representative located in Leicester but covering Leicestershire and the midlands. The Area Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, providing product demonstrations, and achieving sales targets. The representative will also handle customer inquiries, process orders, and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or a similar role with a strong track record in customer service.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients at all levels.
- Proficient in IT applications relevant to sales management and reporting.
- Exceptional time management abilities with a focus on meeting targets and deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
