Assistant Vice President Sales

New Today

Job Description

Numisma Bank is a newly launched, financial institution with global ambitions and elite backing. Founded by senior executives from Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, and White & Case, we’re reinventing currency trading—offering physical delivery in a modern, compliance-first framework tailored for central banks, global financial institutions, and select non-bank financial entities.

We're building a next-generation bank from the ground up—an institution where innovation, ethics, and precision go hand in hand. If you're excited by the idea of building at scale, shaping culture from day one, and solving real-world challenges in cross-border finance, this is your moment.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a collaborative, globally minded professional to join our U.K. team as Assistant Vice President – Sales & Trading.

In this role, you’ll work in a client-delivery pod alongside the VP Client Risk Management and a Trader, reporting to the SVP Sales & Trading.

You’ll be the connector who turns opportunity into action—helping new institutional clients move seamlessly from first introduction to live trading.

Every relationship you guide will expand Numisma’s global reach and strengthen our reputation for excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the onboarding and activation of new institutional clients, ensuring every step is clear, professional, and on schedule.
  • Partner across Sales, Risk, Legal, Treasury, and Operations to prepare clients for live trading.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact—building confidence through communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Track progress, solve problems, and keep the momentum moving.
  • Represent Numisma at client meetings and international industry events (travel ≈ 25 %).

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7 years of experience in international banking, FX, or financial services, ideally within client management or operations.
  • Exposure to EMEA jurisdictions
  • Strong organizational and project-coordination skills—able to manage multiple priorities with precision.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to operate in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communicator who builds trust across cultures and time zones.
  • Collaborative, curious, and commercially aware.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master’s a plus).

Who You Are

  • A connector and problem-solver who finds satisfaction in making complex things work smoothly.
  • Calm under pressure, detail-minded, and confident engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Energized by teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.
  • Looking to grow within a high-integrity, globally ambitious organization.

Why Join Numisma?

  • Global exposure: Engage daily with institutions across the GCC, India, Asia, and the Americas.
  • Collaborative pod model: Work closely with senior leaders who mentor and empower.
  • Direct impact: Every successful onboarding expands the Bank’s global footprint.
  • Momentum: Join a fully funded institution at a defining moment of growth.
  • Culture: Inclusive, values-driven, and committed to excellence.
