Now, we’re looking for an Associate – Institutional Sales to join our growing team, with a focus on expanding our client base. If you’re ready to work at the forefront of something different and exciting in financial data & research, we want to hear from you.


What You’ll Be Doing


As Associate – Institutional Sales, you’ll play a key role in growing Vanda’s presence, establishing and nurturing relationships with hedge funds, investment banks, asset managers, family offices, and other institutional investors. This is a pivotal hire as we expand our reach, giving you the opportunity to drive meaningful growth in one of our most important markets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through your established network, outbound marketing, and strategic outreach.
  • Showcase Vanda’s revolutionary positioning and flow data platform, VandaXasset, ensuring clients are fully engaged across our product suite.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with institutional clients, driving revenue growth.
  • Maintain an active CRM pipeline, tracking all activities and reporting weekly to the Head of Sales.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all inbound client requests within your assigned region.


Who We’re Looking For


  • 2+ years’ experience in institutional sales, preferably in data platforms or financial research.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you can engage top-tier institutional clients with confidence.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of financial markets—positioning, flows, or macro strategy knowledge is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
