Job Summary Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for the automotive industry? Do you have expertise in Type Approval, Homologation, or the TIC market in general? TÜV Rheinland is seeking a dynamic UK Automotive Sales Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving growth within the UK automotive sector.

What will you be doing with us? Drive business growth: Generate order income and revenue by acquiring new customers, recovering former clients, and developing existing accounts through cold calling, customer visits, and participation in industry events. Deliver sales performance: Consistently achieve and monitor sales targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and optimise internal sales costs within your area of responsibility. Strategic planning: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager Europe to create and maintain a customer-focused plan leveraging marketing leads, market insights, and existing opportunities. Leverage expertise in Homologation & Type Approval: Support customers in navigating UK and international regulatory requirements with tailored solutions. Harness CRM tools: Utilise and analyse Salesforce to manage opportunities while fostering strong customer relationships and identifying growth potential. Enhance customer relationships: Build loyalty, strengthen partnerships, and secure critical business accounts with frequent customer visits. Work proactively to up-sell services and promote TÜV Rheinland’s full portfolio. Stay informed and report progress: Stay up to date with industry trends through training, events, and meetings. Provide key sales data and feedback to senior management.
What we expect of you? A proven sales background, ideally in the automotive sector or TIC industry. Proficiency in English, with additional European languages being advantageous. Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems, with solid knowledge of pipeline management and sales processes. Familiarity with a range of sales techniques and strategies. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A self-motivated, target-driven attitude with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Experience in an international automotive environment is beneficial. Flexibility and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. A valid UK (or European) driving licence.
