Salary: £28,000 per annum + discretionary bonus scheme


Are you commercially minded, highly organised, and excited to build long-term partnerships that drive business growth?


We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team at Speak Up London, one of the UK’s leading English language schools. In this  role, you’ll play a vital part in expanding our B2B network from generating new leads and managing partner accounts, to coordinating proposals, tracking pipelines, and collaborating across teams.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with B2B experience who’s ready to take ownership of their projects, deepen their understanding of client management, and grow within a supportive, fast-paced business development team.


✈️ Note: Occasional travel may be required to meet key partners or attend events – both within the UK and internationally.


What You’ll Be Doing


  • Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities, from lead generation to qualified outreach
  • Manage and update our CRM (e.g., HubSpot) with accurate tracking and client notes
  • Support proposal development and draft partnership agreements
  • Maintain timely, high-quality communication with multiple clients and partners
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups to keep conversations moving forward
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align on strategy and deliverables
  • Stay on top of daily business development admin, ensuring smooth internal processes
  • Attend occasional in-person meetings or events with agents and partners when required
  • Support or represent the business at international events or trips, depending on need and performance


We’re Looking For


  • Language Education experience is essential - this could be in business development, client services, partnerships, or sales.



  • Excellent communication skills - you’re confident speaking with clients and crafting clear, professional emails
  • Exceptionally organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated - you take initiative and stay on top of your work
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities without dropping the ball
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a strong advantage
  • Interest in education, international markets, or partnership strategy is a big bonus
  • Multilingual candidates are highly valued in our global-facing team
  • Willingness to travel for occasional partner meetings or international trips
