BD/ Sales Executive

My client designs and manufactures fabrication and process equipment, with a strong focus on the water industry. They are seeking a driven Business Development / Sales Manager to take ownership of growing their client base, securing new projects, and nurturing existing customer relationships. You’ll be working closely with their technical team to deliver tailored solutions and help drive the next phase of their company’s growth.
This role will be primarily office-based, with regular travel to meet clients and visit project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities, particularly within the water industry
* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
* Handle estimating, tendering, and commercial negotiations for fabrication/manufacturing projects
* Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure customer needs are met
* Prepare and present proposals and tenders to clients
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market developments
* Attend site visits and industry events where required
Experience Required:
* Proven track record in business development or sales within the fabrication/manufacturing sector (water industry experience preferred)
* Strong commercial awareness with experience in estimating and tendering
