About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused Branch & Sales Manager to lead a busy branch within the agricultural and horticultural machinery sector. This is a senior position, responsible for driving profitability, managing day-to-day operations, and overseeing a dedicated team across sales, service, parts, and administration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural or horticultural equipment, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to deliver excellent customer service while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee teams across sales, service, parts, and administration, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing outstanding service and support
- Identify new sales opportunities and implement strategies to drive revenue growth
- Ensure compliance with company processes, health & safety standards, and operational policies
- Monitor branch performance against targets, implementing improvements where necessary
- Take an active role in staff development, mentoring, and training initiatives
- Strong knowledge of agricultural or horticultural equipment (highly desirable)
- Proven track record in sales and business development
- Excellent leadership, motivational, and team management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate, and close deals
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving
- IT literate with good administrative and reporting skills
- Full UK driving licence essential
