Job Description
We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Executive to join our Group Sales & Marketing Function - the team responsible for accelerating growth across The Ingenuity Group.
In this role, you’ll support the team in driving new agency relationships, building prospect lists and data sets for outreach, and helping maintain a healthy new business pipeline for our retained services, including Business Development, PR, the CMO Engagement Programme, and Agency Growth Club, while also contributing to spot sales for our flagship MAD//Meets events.
Reporting into the Group Managing Partner of Growth, you’ll work closely with a Senior Business Development Manager, a Business Development Manager, and the wider sales & marketing team.
This role provides exposure to senior decision-makers at leading marketing agencies and valuable insight into business development, agency engagement, and the marketing agency landscape. You’ll support the team with proposals, organise meetings, follow up on pipeline opportunities, and suggest new agencies to target - playing an important role in how we connect, engage, and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build agency prospecting lists to support outreach for retained services (Business Development, PR, CMO Engagement Programme, Agency Growth Club).
- Assist in creating assets for agency marketing campaigns, including email copy, data lists, and website landing page content.
- Support pipeline management, ensuring all leads are tracked, followed up on, and communicated with regularly.
- Organise new business meetings and assist the Managing Partner of Growth with diary management for new business meetings.
- Help draft tailored proposals, manage follow-ups, and gather feedback to progress opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all leads, conversations, and activities in HubSpot.
- Contribute to MAD//Meets spot sales, supporting the team to achieve commercial targets.
KPIs for Success
- New business meetings generated from prospecting and campaign data sets.
- Accurate logging and tracking of all activity in HubSpot.
- Achievement of quarterly MAD//Meets spot sales targets.
