Role Summary

We’re looking for a proactive and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their sales career—particularly those aspiring to become a Business Development Manager. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full sales cycle, with opportunities to learn, grow, and shape your future within a supportive and ambitious environment.


Key Responsibilities

·      Respond promptly to inbound sales enquiries via website, email, and phone.

·      Conduct consultative sales calls and meetings to understand client needs.

·      Prepare tailored proposals and negotiate confidently to secure new business.

·      Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors.

·      Represent Innovate at networking events, conferences, and trade shows.

·      Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke client solutions.

·      Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and follow up on leads.


Requirements

·      Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or business development.

·      Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·      Strong commercial awareness and a consultative, target-driven approach.

·      Organised, self-motivated, and confident working independently.

·      Understanding of occupational health services (desirable).

·      A growth mindset and ambition to progress into business development leadership.


What We Offer

·      Competitive salary - £30,000 –£40,000 per annum plus agreed commission structure.

·      Hybrid working - 3 days in our Stockport office, 2 days home working; 37.5-hour working week.
