Position: Business Development Manager - Solution Sales - York
Overview
#TeamCandour is looking to add a Business Development Manager with experience in selling solutions to play a crucial role in spearheading the physical security side of our clients' business. This role is based out of the office on the outskirts of York on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities:
- Support all sales teams in developing strategic customer relationships
- Own and achieve a defined gross profit (GP) target, monitor P&L performance, and drive pipeline activity
- Collaborate with marketing to create and execute tailored campaigns that support growth and customer engagement
- Manage relationships, including partner status, accreditations, joint planning, resource alignment, and regular business reviews
- Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base while ensuring SLAs and service expectations are met
- Oversee internal processes such as vendor days, documentation management, and cross-team communication
Qualifications:
- Experience in IT or technology B2B sales, with a strong understanding of the sales cycle and customer engagement
- Strong communication and presentation skills, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable delivering training, product knowledge sessions, or team enablement activities
- Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
