The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Business Development / Technical Sales professional to promote and support the HIKMICRO infrared & acoustic camera range across the UK.

This is a field-based, customer-facing role — perfect for someone who enjoys demonstrating technology, solving problems, and building lasting relationships.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a role involving complex technical products and independent working is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit clients nationwide to promote and demonstrate HIKMICRO products
• Build strong relationships with users and reselling partners
• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Provide setup, advice, and technical support
• Deliver product and thermography familiarisation sessions
• Attend trade shows and industry events

About You

• Background in technical sales or field service (instrumentation, imaging, or related technology)
• Technically minded, with strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, organised, and confident working independently
• Full UK driving licence + willingness to travel extensively
• Advantageous: Experience with instrumentation systems, thermography, infrared, or acoustic imaging (training provided)
