    A well-regarded opportunity for a keen sales professional, who is looking to join a highly known business who are a leader within their sector. This position will combine generation of new business relationships and creating additional opportunities with a large client portfolio across a National demographic. The opportunity for sales is vast, and this is a truly integral role where you will build excellent product and service knowledge, creating key relationships across an array of commercial sectors - identifying opportunities to acquire new custom and build on your existing portfolio.

    This role will involve telephone based outreach (75%) in-person meetings, trade shows and networking (25%); so please note that a driving license is required (with some adhoc evening/weekend work required - time off in lieu offered & trips expensed)

    Standard hours of work are Monday to Friday 9-5:30 with a clear, uncapped commission structure (both personal and team) alongside a well-rounded benefits package offering various rewards and incentives.

    The Day to Day:
  • Working through a large current database of clients to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Confidently identifying and contacting new prospects to establish relationships.
  • Managing a live portfolio of clients and seeking opportunities for further growth.
  • Attending shows, exhibitions and networking events to showcase business products.
  • Developing all relationships with professionalism and high-quality customer care.
  • Maintaining in house CRM to track conversations and sales progression process.
  • Utilising product knowledge to make recommendations and prepare quotations.
  • Working to targets and contributing to departmental objectives and pipeline growth.
  • You Will Have/Be:
  • Current or recent tenure in a sales role with documented success.
  • Experience within a business-to-business sales remit is desirable but not essential.
  • An excellent telephone manner and a capacity to ask the right questions to establish needs.
  • Tenacity, drive and resourcefulness in working towards targets and making things happen.
  • Confident in client outreach across both new business and in existing relationships.
  • Skilled in working to revenue targets and wider team KPIs.
  • Ability to generate new leads, using innovative and creative thinking to identify prospects.
  • Strong track record in converting sales and managing your own pipeline.
  • Natural commercial acumen with a positive and professional sales approach.
