Alison Gray Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturer in the precast concrete industry, serving civil infrastructure and construction clients across the UK and Ireland. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Sales Manager to lead the Civil Sales team, drive business growth, and help achieve ambitious sales and gross profit targets. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales performance and meet revenue targets in the civil engineering and construction materials sector Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share Collaborate with internal teams and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction Provide accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects to support competitive tenders Lead the bid and tendering process, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards Support business development by identifying market trends and strategic opportunities Maintain expert knowledge of civil engineering products and solutions Prepare and deliver quotes, bids, and proposals in response to client inquiries Lead contract negotiations and ensure favourable terms Provide post-sale support and resolve client issues promptly Report regularly on sales performance, market insights, and forecasts Lead, motivate, and train the Civil Sales team to achieve goals Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing and reliable service Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives Deputise for the Head of Sales & Marketing when required Essential Criteria: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years management experience leading sales teams Strong background in sales and estimating within civil engineering or construction Ability to read technical drawings and bar schedules Excellent negotiation and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Proven leadership and team management capabilities Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Benefits: 30 days holidays (including stats) Company Performance Related pay (PRP) scheme Private Healthcare scheme Company sick pay scheme Employee Referral scheme AXA Insurance discount Cycle to work scheme Pension scheme Life insurance policy Please send your CV for consideration.
