The Opportunity
We are excited to be looking for a Conference and Christmas Sales Executive to join the Conference and Events teamat Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire Cricket. You'll be responsible fordelivering the annual sales target for Christmas by responding to all in-coming Christmas enquiries to the Conference and Events department, writing proposals, meeting clients and converting bookings ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times. This role will also support the C&E sales team responding to all other event enquiry types during the less Christmas focused months. Some admin and proactive sales activity may need to be conducted and possibly supporting the coordination team if needed

Key Responsibilities
To support our ambitions to achieve continued growth in Conference and Eventswe are looking for an experiencedSales Executivetojoin our team. As a Conference and Christmas Sales Executiveyou will be responsible for:
- To provide a weekly report outlining Christmas sales figures and sales activity
- To respond quickly and efficiently to in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone and email with a focus on all Christmas Events
- To follow up all enquiries, preparing proposals where necessary and facilitating show-rounds with potential clients to show them our facilities, successfully converting all in-bound enquiries
- To support the Co-ordination team by regularly following-up clients post-event to ensure requirements were met and commence future sales and revenue opportunities
- To manage regular client accounts to develop repeat and new business
- Ensure an efficient tracking system of all event paper-work
- Up-keep of a client and agents database – updating where necessary to allow effective promotions
Essential Requirements
- Passion for Sales
- Re-active and Pro-active with confidence to call prospective clients, agents and other venues
- Excellent administration skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload to be able to meet strict deadlines
- IT Literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly in Word and Excel. A working knowledge of Delphi.fdc would be very useful
- Flexibility in hours and days of work all year but particularly during the Christmas/ricket/concert season
