Overview

The Customer Experience & Marketing team has an exciting opportunity for two Sales and Customer Experience Learning Specialists to join the team. The role involves working remotely with frequent visits to London and national travel to deliver face-to-face training.

We seek candidates who excel at building strong consultative relationships. This is a great opportunity for a passionate, self-motivated sales professional interested in working in-house to promote the Barchester brand standards.

Your role involves delivering effective learning solutions across Barchester Healthcare to drive high occupancy rates by converting inquiries and short-stay residents to permanent residency.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven success in sales growth through learning interventions
• Experience as a Learning and Development specialist, with a focus on sales and conversion
• Understanding of best practices in sales and customer experience in fast-paced, multi-channel environments
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays
• Knowledge of customer experience design and change management

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze current practices and results for enquiries and sales, understanding the enquiry-to-admission journey
• Familiarize with Customer and Resident Experience, including Life Enrichment and the Customer Journey, to identify improvement opportunities
• Identify key conversion points and develop training to enhance conversion rates using customer insights
• Conduct training needs analysis and propose programs to improve commercial performance
• Create training materials aligned with Learning and Development standards and brand tone
• Support the design of structured learning initiatives for occupancy and customer experience improvements
• Implement a blended learning approach, incorporating digital and face-to-face methods, collaborating with operators to determine the best delivery methods
• Travel nationally as required for face-to-face training sessions
• Ensure effective learning environments with appropriate tools and systems
• Prepare high-quality training sessions and integrate modules into the Barchester Learning platform and HRIS
• Maintain resources supporting sales and occupancy success for current and future leaders
• Provide ongoing coaching to leaders on a one-to-one basis as needed
