Director of Enterprise Sales
Location: London (Flexible Hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
This is a rare opportunity to shape the sales engine of a 10-person AI startup already working with major enterprise clients across regulated sectors. Backed by tier-one investors in San Francisco and voted among the top 1% of startups globally, the company is now gearing up to scale.
The product is live. The demand is real. Now it's time to build — and we’re looking for someone who wants to lead that charge. You’ll work directly with the founders and a world-class team of engineers and researchers from Meta, UCL, and Five AI — including pioneers in Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL) and leaders with previous IPO and £100m+ exit experience.

What makes this role unique
- Lead complex, high-value enterprise deals (£250k to £1M+), particularly across finance, law, and government.
- Collaborate directly with founders and product leads to shape pricing, go-to-market strategy, and deal structure.
- Define how sales is done here — there’s no rigid playbook, just a need for sharp thinking and ownership.
- Educate the market on a product that’s ahead of its time — helping clients unlock what’s possible with AI at scale.
- Take full ownership of the commercial strategy today, with the opportunity to build and lead the sales function over time.
- Join at a pivotal moment — you’ll have a direct seat at the table as the company scales and secures its next funding round.
What we’re looking for
- A track record of closing £250k+ enterprise deals, end to end.
- Experience selling into regulated sectors — especially Tier 1 banks, legal, or public sector.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to navigate procurement, compliance, and legal processes.
- Comfortable leading conversations with C-suite, technical, and operational stakeholders.
- Able to break down complex concepts and explain them simply.
- A consultative mindset, not just a closer — someone who listens, understands, and solves.
- Ideally, a strong network in financial or regulated markets.
- Bonus points for background in top-tier consultancies (e.g. McKinsey, Accenture, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Deloitte Digital, Capgemini Invent, or similar) combined with a proven track record of owning and closing enterprise sales.
- Someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments and isn’t afraid to build from scratch.
