Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and commercially driven Director of Sales, Parks to lead business development and drive growth across the UK, Ireland, and broader EMEA markets.

This role sits within the EMEA Sales Division of Universal Destinations & Experiences, a subsidiary of our global entertainment group headquartered in Orlando, Florida, which operates Universal theme parks and resort properties worldwide.

With a strong travel industry focus, this role is responsible for leading our sales strategy and partnerships to support destination growth across our portfolio. Please note: this position is not part of our media division, which includes Universal Pictures, NBC Networks, or NBC Media, though we are part of the same global family.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced and strategic leader who can guide a high-performing sales and business development team to deliver sustainable growth in a product-led, partner-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our point-of-origin sales goals, driving commercial performance through revenue growth, new product adoption, and delivering value creation aligned with broader business objectives.

This role will be responsible for driving results within an established distribution model as well as overseeing growth in evolving digital platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to leverage current capabilities and navigate future technologies within our roadmap. They will also bring strong commercial acumen in evaluating and structuring future agreements, building upon trusted partnerships and developing strategic, long-term relationships to support business expansion.
