How will you make an impact in this role?
We are recruiting for a Business Analyst position in the International Card Services Centre of Excellence (ICS CoE) organization. This is a high visibility role to deliver operational support, performance analytics and business insights. The role sits within the ASI (Analytics Strategy & Insights) team, which is responsible for a wide range of functions including: performance reporting, providing analytics and insights to drive the performance of the ICS organisation, sales planning, driving profitable growth by providing recommendations to the CoE leadership, supporting sales Incentives, and supporting the Business Conduct Sales agenda.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with strong quantitative and analytical skills, who will create and refine methodologies, models and processes for target-setting and can analyze large sets of data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations. The candidate must be able to effectively communicate complex ideas to audiences who have various levels of seniority and expertise.
The Business Analyst will need to be a connector and an enabler, working closely with central team and market function leaders.
Required skills:
Proactive approach, creative thinking and ability to deliver new insights, new tools and process efficiencies- Ability to build a strong internal network and deliver at the highest level
- Strong communication skills to tell a story through data and make recommendations to senior leadership
- Commercial awareness, with a good understanding of business needs, levers, concerns, and trends
- Excellent time management skills, meeting deadlines under pressure
- Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to manage, manipulate and analyse complex data
- Complex problem-solving skills, with regards to identifying, diagnosing and resolving data issues when they arise
- Attention to detail and familiarity with risks associated with a sales and account development organization.
- A capable teammate but able to work independently and on own initiative
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Analyst role or related field.
- Degree level education or equivalent
- Advanced MS Excel essential & SQL preferred. Familiar with Customer Relationship Management tools (i.e. Salesforce)
