Location: London(SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises of a mix of office and home working)

To develop and manage a team of people who in turn manage the relationship between SCC and the customers within the designated territory.
- Achieve all financial goals through successfully leading the BDEs and AMs
- Be an expert in the key business challenges and trends within the Commercial Sectors
- Be a role model and ‘lead from the front’ in terms of demonstrating how to win large net new customers
- Develop and support team activity for client facing events
- Contribute, support and execute the Commercial South business plan
- Support the BDEs and AMs to develop their sales strategy and territory plan for nominated pursuit targets
- Develop opportunity pipeline against SCC core portfolio within the Commercial Sectors to support performance against revenue and margin targets
- Recruit, develop, motivate and lead the new business teams
- Build and maintain relationships with key strategic vendors
- Create compelling joint vendor business plans to grow our mutual business
- Continual progress reporting against defined list
- Coach the BDEs and AMs to win more and secure target-market net-new clients
- Ensure the SCC CRM tool and opportunity management is maintained for the entire BDE teams
- Ensure an accurate sales forecast is maintained
- Supply timely and accurate data required by Regional Management
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of SCC’s core service propositions
- Closely work with other SCC teams such as our Services & Marketing teams to successfully led new business campaigns
- Create and implement clear social media campaigns to raise awareness of SCC and our strategic pursuits
- Improve win rates across new business campaigns
- Adhere and ensure the sales team adhere to SCC sales governance processes
- Work with and lead cross business specialists to support campaign management
- Minimum of 10 years IT sales experience is a pre-requisite
- Minimum of 5 years of successfully leading sales teams to win new customers
- Proven track record of winning net new business in large customers in the Commercial Sector. Has individually led and won large, complex, digital transformational services and IT outsource services.
- Proven track record of recruiting, motivating and leading new business sales teams
- Proven track record of successfully creating and executing compelling sales growth plans
- Demonstrable knowledge in delivering complex IT solutions, outsourcing and digital transformation
- Ability to engage at both the ‘C’ suite within IT and the wider client business
- Proven knowledge of the IT Vendor community
- Proven track record in exceeding financial and performance targets
- Good understanding of the Financial Services & Insurance industry
