Global Area Sales Manager (Europe) – VEOLIA Labwater Division, Water Technologies - Elga.

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Area Sales Manager to join VEOLIA Labwater Division, the global pioneer in Laboratory Water Purification Technology. Responsibilities

  • Drive regional sales growth while providing Water Technologies - Elga HQ with valuable market insights and product feedback.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for each business unit to consistently exceed targets.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, focusing on key accounts to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to set ambitious growth targets and implement high‑impact strategies.
  • Engage and influence clients at all levels, building strong, long‑term relationships.
  • Craft compelling business proposals, sales plans, and contracts in collaboration with Water Technologies - Elga teams.
  • Lead regular customer meetings to strengthen partnerships and drive long‑term success.
  • Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring market trends and identifying new growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Understanding of laboratory workflows and key instrumentation drivers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce advantageous).
  • Knowledge of finance metrics, typically bookings, revenue & margins.
  • Experience in sales forecasting and budget management.
  • Strong balance of sales hunting and account management skills.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing third‑party channels and global accounts.
  • Presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Expertise in strategic sales planning and business development.
  • Experience working in international markets.
  • Strong communication skills to drive collaboration across regional and national teams.
  • Ability to secure and manage high‑value international deals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
  • Extensive sales experience in the scientific/lab equipment industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pure water principles and the ELGA product range.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite.
  • Business‑conscious and commercially astute.
  • Fluent in English, with additional European languages being a plus.

When not travelling, you will be based at our Water Technologies - Elga headquarters in Lane End, High Wycombe.
