We’re looking for a financially motivated and commercially-minded Delegate Sales Executive who wants to use their skills to positively impact key industries and communities. This role is suitable for recent graduates or candidates at the start of their sales careers.
This full-time, hybrid position is based in Canary Wharf, London.
About the Role
As a Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events, you will:
- Reach out to potential delegates via calls, emails, and social media to inform them about upcoming events.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand potential delegates' needs and match these with our events’ features.
- Follow our minimum KPI standards to help achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Join a driven, motivated sales team and learn the business from the ground up.
- Sell delegate places and tickets across our global events portfolio.
- Build relationships with leads across various industry sectors and receive commissions for each sale.
- Qualify and nurture sales leads using excellent customer service skills.
- Close individual and group delegate registrations for senior-level B2B conferences worldwide.
- Work comfortably towards targets and engage with decision makers at leading organizations.
- Receive training on sales techniques to succeed as a sales executive.
- Potentially progress into business development focusing on higher-level sponsorships or into conference production roles creating high-end events.
