We’re looking for a financially motivated and commercially-minded Delegate Sales Executive who is eager to use their skills to positively impact critical industries and the communities within them. This role is suitable for a recent graduate or candidates starting their sales careers.
This full-time, hybrid position is based in Canary Wharf, London.
About the Role
As a Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events, you will:
- Reach out to potential delegates/participants mainly through calls, emails, and social media to inform them about upcoming events.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of potential delegates and match these with our event offerings.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by following our minimum KPI standards.
- Be part of a motivated sales team and learn the business from the ground up.
- Sell delegate places and tickets across our global events portfolio.
- Build relationships with leads across various industry sectors and earn commissions on every sale.
- Qualify and nurture sales leads using excellent customer service skills.
- Close individual and group delegate registrations for senior-level B2B conferences worldwide.
- Work comfortably towards targets and communicate with decision-makers at major organizations.
- Receive training on sales techniques to succeed as a sales executive.
- Potentially progress into business development or conference production roles, gaining diverse transferable skills.
About You
You are suitable for the Delegate Sales Executive role if you:
