A leading Private Equity backed b2b services provider is seeking a Group Sales Director, reporting directly to the CEO, to oversee all revenue based activities, during a phase of high growth and M&A.

With revenues of £50m, and a target of £100m within 3 years, the business has acquired a number of supplementary businesses, that complement the original offering, allowing a huge opportunity to provide additonal services to existing clients, but also take a more compelling and value adding proposition to new clients.

Given this complex and high pace environment, we are looking to talk with experienced Group Sales Directors, who have proven themselves in delivering a multi-service offering, to multiple sectors at the same time. Strong CRM and sales methodology experience is needed too, as the business undertakes a group wide CRM implementation, whilst adopting new processes and sales metrics.

Experience operating a the top table is essential too, as this role constantly engages with the COO, CFO and HRD, as well as the senior directors and BD teams in the acquired businesses. You will also be reporting regularly to the Investors, providing accurate management information to report on sales activity and the positive effects of the improvements that you are making.

As an overview, the essential criteria are:

- group sales experience (multiples service to multiple sectors)

- prior board level experience

- ideally some PE ownership experience

The HQ is in the West Midlands, where you will be based for 2 days a week along with the other Execs. The rest of your week will be with clients, with your (remote) sales team, or based at home, so where you live is unimportant but the ability to travel and be present, is.
