As Head of B2B Sales (Private Medical Insurance), you’ll lead the charge in shaping and growing the SME health insurance market – ensuring we deliver exceptional value and care to our clients. You’ll be at the forefront of driving strategy, innovation, and performance
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the growth strategy for SME, full P&L accountability.
- Lead and inspire the account management team, and provide matrix leadership to Segment Managers across the UK & Africa.
- Collaborate with pricing, marketing, and proposition teams to shape compelling offers and campaigns.
- Drive new business and renewals through proactive pipeline and relationship management.
- Represent your segment in strategic forums, contributing to the wider Distribution strategy and Sales Centre of Excellence.
- Coach and develop sales talent, ensuring high performance and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Champion a culture of integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential - sales leadership within Private Medical Insurance sector
- Track record of winning new business (international B2B)
- Commercially astute with deep understanding of pricing, risk, and contract negotiation.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead change and deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
- A consultative approach to problem-solving and client engagement.
- Committed to delivering fair outcomes and meeting regulatory standards.
