Location: Royal Mail, 185 Farringdon Road, London, EC1A 1AA. 3 days per week. National travel will be required due to geographical disperse of sales teams.

Royal Mail International is seeking a dynamic Head of Export Sales to lead the transformation of our £200m+ export profit centre. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our export business, working at the forefront of global e-commerce and logistics innovation.

About The Role

  • Lead the strategic transformation of a key export profit centre serving over 15,000 business customers.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through commercial engagement and customer‑focused innovation.
  • Manage and develop a high‑performing team of 9 international sales experts.
  • Own and execute the export sales strategy, including pipeline development and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including pricing, legal, and commercial to deliver results.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decision‑making and improve sales performance.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies and competitive positioning to accelerate deal closure.

About You

  • Proven senior leadership experience in sales, marketing, e‑commerce, or digital marketing.
  • Strong background in international export logistics and customs, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
  • Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and delivering sustainable sales growth.
  • Skilled in sales analytics, incentive design, and performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Deep understanding of e‑commerce export trends and digital technologies.
  • Degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
