Referment is proud to be partnering with a specialist consultancy that supports private market firms with a range of advisory and outsourced solutions. As the business enters an exciting new growth phase, we’re hiring a Head of Sales to lead their commercial function and drive client acquisition across the UK and Europe.
This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-performing team and build a best-in-class sales operation targeting leading private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices and asset managers. This is a player / coach role whereby the successful candidate will be required to lead by example.
The Role involves the following:
- Define and lead the consultancy’s sales strategy across the private markets
- Develop and grow relationships with senior stakeholders (COOs, CFOs, Heads of Operations)
- Build, coach and scale a high-performing sales team
- Collaborate with delivery and marketing to refine proposition and GTM strategy
- Report directly to the board on pipeline, performance and growth initiatives
About You:
- Extensive experience selling services or solutions into private markets firms
- Deep understanding of the decision-making landscape across buy-side clients
- Track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that drive results
- Strong leadership skills with experience building successful sales teams
- Comfortable selling a mix of project-based and retained consulting services (including compliance)
