This exciting role combines practical, customer-facing work with office-based sales support - offering the perfect opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a leading company in the lifting, safety, and engineering industry.

About the Role

As an Internal Sales Apprentice, you'll play a key part in supporting our customers and internal sales operations. You'll manage direct trade counter sales, respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and process orders. This is a hands-on role that involves both customer interaction and administrative tasks.

You'll learn how to build strong customer relationships, understand our range of specialist products, and work closely with the wider sales team to ensure excellent service from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the trade counter and manage over-the-counter sales.
• Handle inbound phone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Prepare quotations and process sales orders accurately.
• Support the internal and external sales teams with product and pricing information.
• Maintain a tidy and organised counter and office area.
• Develop product knowledge and understanding of customer needs.

What We're Looking For

• A positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, order systems).
• Interest in sales, engineering, or a technical environment.
• GCSEs or equivalent; further education or training in sales/customer service is an advantage.
