United Welding Supplies are a leader in supplying industrial products to various sectors. We are ISO 9001, 14001, and FORS accredited, providing over 10,000 customers across the UK and worldwide with high-quality welding products, abrasives, power tools, and PPE. You will be joining a dynamic team dedicated to providing a wide range of products and outstanding service.

 

Your position will begin primarily office based but you will also spend time learning other aspects of the business to gain a good insight into the industry and carve out your own bespoke career path within United Welding

 

We love to give our team the opportunity to grow into which ever area of the business that they enjoy and flourish in. This type of starting position has led people into roles such as external sales engineers, service engineers, demonstrators, managers and directors of the business

 

What you’ll be doing:

✨       Coordinating all aspects of customer service including receiving phoned and emailed enquiries, order processing and raising quotations

✨       Working as an internal ‘go to’ point for our external sales team

✨       VMI – visiting our customers to support their industrial vending requirements 

✨       Looking after your own area within the service department where we will train you to be build and weld test new machines and hire sets

 

What we’re looking for:

        A confident communicator who isn’t afraid to answer the phone and use a PC

        Someone hungry, driven, and motivated by success

        A natural relationship-builder with a positive, flexible, can-do vibe who doesn’t mind getting stuck in

       Experience in sales is a bonus – but energy, ambition, and the right attitude are what really count!

       Valid UK driving license

       Knowledge or interest in the metal working industry an advantage but not a necessity
