Sales and Production Assistant

up to £37500, Bradford, 7.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday, company pension, work excursions and nights out

This role is to support a newly appointed General Manager across stores, goods in, dispatch and transport as well as maintaining sales and chasing and issuing quotes.

Duties will include

Developing external sales and maintaining existing customers, producing and chasing quotes and processing all sales orders. Deal with Autocad designs, work from drawings to manage materials, ensuring availability for production and undertake purchasing. Ensuring that the ERP system is kept updated with all information Production Planning - purchasing all materials and monitoring lead times so that they are ordered in time Stock Control of all materials and receiving all goods in Organise logistics and dispatch of completed orders Deal with all incoming calls to the department Ensuring compliance with EN1090

Requirements

You will be computer literate with particular skills in AutoCAD, MS Office, CRM and MRP solutions. Previous work experience in an operations role where you have coordinated and supported. Excellent verbal and written skills, confident when dealing with people by phone, in person and on email. Proven time management skills, be able to multi task and prioritise your own workload Ideally you will be Degree qualified in an Engineering field or equivalent
