ROLE OVERVIEW:


Reporting to the Commercial Director, the International Sales Manager is a pivotal and influential role to lead our sales Advisory team to ongoing success. With your main goal being the execution of top level strategies to ensure the achievement of our sales targets and operational excellence along the way as you manage the sales team. We’re looking for an excellent sales team manager as you lead from within, leading by example as you regularly coach an all star sales team for success and set standards by personal demonstration.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales:

  • Responsible for sales and achieving top level sales targets.
  • Leading from within and demonstrating success and the leading example by closing sales deals alongside the team. 
  • Working cross functionally to ensure preparation of deal deliverables including pitches, proposals, sales material and other client and market facing collateral.
  • Coach the team to deliver not just an exceptional level of service, but an experience, from initial point of contact to deal close.
  • Set an example to develop and nurture long standing relationships with leading prospect and existing clients, maintaining and moving sales leads along in the pipeline. 
  • Assist with the closing of any high profile deals.


Reporting & Tracking: 

  • Ensuring the team is consistently forecasting and closing targets within 5% of each other, demonstrating full control of our pipelines. 
  • Regular reporting and analysis of the team’s pipeline and how tracking against target, giving insight into the sales performance focusing on the achievement, tracking and reflection of KPI’s. 
  • Strong data acumen to regularly interpret reporting to produce actionable insights & accurate reflections. 
  • Setting of KPIs on an individual level. 
  • Ownership of Hubspot to ensure the team is managing the system effectively, ensuring always up-to-date and reliable. 


Operational Excellence: 

  • Ensure the team is adhering to processes and routines mapped out for them including clarity on how to use tools and systems readily available to them as well as implement any new processes / routines / tools that can further benefit the team. 
  • See to Hubspot data and deal hygiene is regularly up to par ensuring data is reliable and accurate and the team constantly trained on how to best use the system. 
  • Monitor and responsible for performance management of the team, ensuring focused on priorities and executing on their roles to a high standard as mapped out to them. This includes ensuring the team meets their weekly activity targets, achieving and reacting to KPIs.   


Implementation of & Feedback Into Strategy: 

  • Work closely with the Commercial Director and internal cross-functional teams to flawlessly execute and implement top level initiatives.
  • Feed into the top level global sales and marketing strategies as you champion the client and consumer behavior to ensure our strategies are guided and targeted. 


Team: 

  • Manage and develop the Advisory team, regularly coaching for success and helping to nurture and develop talent as you motivate and inspire along the way.
  • Ensuring your team is nurtured and supported to deliver on their personal goals with clarity on what these goals are and what success for each role looks like with clear development plans to achieve these goals. 
  • Eventually hire and build the team as needed, seeing to a smooth and well supported onboarding of new hires. 
  • Weekly 1-1s with the team as well quarterly reviews, ensuring constantly developing and mentoring the team for excellence. 


Culture: 

  • Nurture a culture within the Advisory team that reflects the greater values of the August brand and a winning "can do" mindset, bringing energy and motivation to the team with ambition to grow.
  • Acting as an August ambassador at all times, ensuring to be well presented and spoken as you embody the August brand. 


ABOUT YOU:

  • You’re a natural leader with 5+ years experience managing and leading a sales team, understanding how to best connect with different sales profiles ensuring to get the best out of them, inspiring and motivating as you relish coaching for success. 
  • You’re a top performing sales profile with 3-5 years experience selling high value products in a luxury environment.
  • You thrive off the customer experience, always looking to go the extra mile.
  • You take initiative and are resourceful, acting with urgency to exceed top level results.
  • You’re detail oriented as you manage and track team KPIs ensuring we’re performing across the entire pipeline. 


HOURS & PACKAGE:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm.
  • Location: Central London office with hybrid flexibility (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
  • Package: Competitive base salary with a bonus scheme pending achievement of sales targets.
  • Occasional travel to and from Europe
  • Start date: ASAP
