Junior Field Sales Representative – Fast-Moving Consumer Goods

Following consecutive year-on-year growth, they are now recruiting for their Junior Field Sales Representative programme involving a combination of hands-on experience in the field and structured learning through classes & webinars.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain an understanding of how a global business operates whilst also learning & developing key skills involved in B2B product sales – with a formal qualification earned following the programme’s completion. Successful candidates can expect to cover key areas such as sector insight, the mechanics of the sales process, how to build customer relationships, and managing the full sales cycle.
This is a hybrid opportunity for individuals based in London or the home counties / surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Complete a range of core learning modules through both in-person & virtual classrooms, workshops, e-learning and coach-led sessions
Develop a strong understanding of consultative B2B sales & the FMCG space
Attend client meetings in-person, developing strong relationship building skills
Gain a strong understanding the product offering, acting as an educator to the client base
Collect & analyse client data as part of the day-to-day responsibilities as well as a way of developing a further understanding of the clients’ needs
Plan & manage time effectively to conduct all activities to a high standard
Collaborate with wider teams to ensure success of the department & of the organisation as a whole
The Successful Candidate
Any background will be considered for this position, including school / college / sixth form leavers
Must have aspirations to pursue a career in sales
Experience in a professional environment would be a plus (e.g. part-time working whilst at school/college, summer jobs etc.)
GCSE Maths & English required - or level 2 equivalent
A full UK driving license is essential
A strong willingness to learn & work hard
Based in London or the home counties / surrounding areas

Basic salary: £26,000
