New Leaf Search has partnered with a UK market-leading provider of flexible B2B funding solutions in its search for a Head of Vendor Sales.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role is responsible for devising and delivering the sales strategy, driving optimum sales productivity, and ensuring performance meets required objectives.

• Lead, mentor and manage sales teams, ensuring headcount, training and development needs are met
• Deliver agreed sales strategy and achieve business targets
• Build and maintain new and existing vendor relationships alongside account managers
• Identify, analyse and pursue new market opportunities
• Represent the business professionally, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements
• Network extensively within the industry to maintain a strong company and personal profile

• Achievement of sales performance targets
• Satisfaction levels of introducers and vendors
• Strong, effective internal and external stakeholder relationships

• 10+ years industry experience, including 5+ years in a sales management role
• Proven vendor finance expertise with strong funding source relationships
• Adaptable and commercially astute in high-paced, complex situations
• Skilled presenter, communicator and influencer, with ability to drive business strategy
• Deep knowledge of industry regulations, legal and tax implications of products
• Extensive industry network and strong reputation across the sector
• Strong financial analysis skills, including interpretation of audited accounts
• Collaborative management style with proven leadership ability
• UK in-country experience essential
