Kitchen Sales Designer Join us at Benchmarx Kitchens & Joinery, part of the Travis Perkins family since 2006, to deliver stylish, high‑quality kitchens that cater to all tastes and budgets. Role Overview As a Kitchen Designer, you’ll bring strong sales experience and a customer‑first mindset to design tailored kitchen solutions for both trade customers and homeowners. You’ll work closely with installers, use CAD software to create bespoke plans, manage a quote pipeline, and maximise sales opportunities through upselling and add‑ons. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you’ll frequently travel to customer sites, showrooms, and project locations. Responsibilities
Design bespoke kitchen plans for trade customers and homeowners using CAD and product knowledge. Build lasting relationships with customers, maintaining a strong, long‑term connection and providing top‑notch service. Produce accurate kitchen plans and quotes, understanding each project to design the “perfect” kitchen. Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure customer requirements are met and help achieve targets. Visit homes or building sites to create inspirational designs on CAD and present them to clients. Prioritize safety, ensuring colleagues and customers leave the showroom safely by following all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
No industry experience required – transferable skills, passion for customer service and sales are key. Methodical, tenacious, detail‑oriented, organised and determined to achieve results. Excellent communicator with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals. Friendly, outgoing and approachable personality. Full, valid UK driving licence.
