OverviewL&D Business Partner, Sales & Technology at Funding Circle UK.DescriptionWe are looking for an L&D Business Partner in our Talent & Culture team. The Talent & Culture team sits within the wider People team and has a focus on ensuring all Circlers across the business are supported with their growth and development within the business.RoleReporting to the L&D Lead, the L&D Business Partner is responsible for creating and delivering the learning strategy for two of our most critical business units. You will oversee the design and delivery of scalable learning solutions that align with our priorities and enhance our ability to engage, develop, and retain top talent in our commercial and technical teams.Analyse learning needs, monitor trends, best practices and performance gaps within Sales and Technology, and design and deliver learning solutions that address those needs, using a variety of instructional methods and technologies.Facilitate high-impact learning interventions for the Sales team at all levels, including onboarding, professional sales skills.Collaborate with the Sales Enablement Manager and subject matter experts to gather content and ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for the commercial teams.Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth, integrating development into the daily work practices of both sales and tech professionals.Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and learning providers to deliver specialised technical training in Technology.Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in day-to-day work.What we’re looking for3-5+ years of learning & development experience, with significant time spent within a fast-paced B2B SaaS or technology company, solid knowledge of learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning principles.Experience leading the design and delivery of learning solutions specifically for a sales organisation is essential.Excellent facilitation, communication and relationship building skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and build credibility with sales and technical audiences and key business partners.Experience managing learning programs and projects, including scoping requirements, managing resources and overseeing external vendors.Ability to analyse data to produce insights that can inform future L&D strategy and measure business impact.Proficient in using modern learning technologies to design and deliver effective learning strategies.Both strategic and execution-oriented – happy to be hands-on in all aspects of the role, from strategy to delivery.Adaptable; able to flex your approach between a high-energy sales floor and a detail-oriented engineering team.Passionate about the role of L&D and able to articulate how targeted development can drive commercial success and technical innovation.Why join usWe’re committed to building diverse teams and welcome applicants even if past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement.Benefits & HighlightsFlexibility: Benefit allowance to tailor your package to you and your family.Health: Private Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Health Cash Plan, Health Assessments, eyecare vouchers, flu jabs, Wellhub, Employee Assistance Programme, and Digital GP.Wealth: Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness Cover, financial coaching, share schemes, mortgage advisor partnership, and retailer discounts.Development: Dedicated annual L&D allowance and full access to internal learning platform.Lifestyle: Electric Car Scheme, Cycle to Work, Season Ticket Loans, and more.
