National Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision‑makers and customer accounts.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, ensuring growth in assigned territories.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing insights and improvements through monthly KPIs.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities while keeping abreast of competitor activity and market trends.
- Conduct ongoing market research and customer feedback analysis to support product and business development.
- Keep customers informed on services, pricing, and new product launches.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
- Promote and pitch target products to both end users and distributors.
- Work closely with partner sales teams to track and secure key projects across multiple sectors.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong technical knowledge of valves.
- Solid understanding of routes to market across the UK.
- Proven ability to analyse sales metrics and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Self‑motivated, target‑driven, with a demonstrable track record in sales growth.
- Skilled in both maintaining existing business and developing new opportunities.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Benefits
Competitive basic salary up to £55,000, a commission scheme, company car/car allowance and company pension scheme.
