Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision‑makers and customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with large customers, ensuring growth in assigned territories.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing insights and improvements through monthly KPIs.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities while keeping abreast of competitor activity and market trends.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and customer feedback analysis to support product and business development.
  • Keep customers informed on services, pricing, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Promote and pitch target products to both end users and distributors.
  • Work closely with partner sales teams to track and secure key projects across multiple sectors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Strong technical knowledge of valves.
  • Solid understanding of routes to market across the UK.
  • Proven ability to analyse sales metrics and drive performance improvements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
  • Self‑motivated, target‑driven, with a demonstrable track record in sales growth.
  • Skilled in both maintaining existing business and developing new opportunities.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Benefits

Competitive basic salary up to £55,000, a commission scheme, company car/car allowance and company pension scheme.
