Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for orthopaedics and joint reconstruction? We’re seeking a high-performing Orthopaedic Sales Specialist to take ownership of a key UK territory, driving growth across a portfolio of innovative joint replacement solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to represent cutting-edge technologies that are improving patient mobility and surgical outcomes across the NHS and private healthcare sectors.
Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed regional sales targets through effective territory management and customer engagement. Develop and execute a comprehensive UK joint replacement business plan aligned with company objectives. Build and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), surgeons, and hospital stakeholders. Deliver in-depth product knowledge and provide clinical support and case coverage where required. Identify and develop local and national business opportunities through market analysis and strategic planning. Prepare compelling proposals and contribute to marketing initiatives and trade shows. Coordinate surgeon training and education events both in the UK and internationally. Monitor and evaluate pricing structures and commercial performance within the region. Mentor and support colleagues within the sales team, sharing best practices and insights.
Skills and Experience Required Minimum 5 years’ experience in orthopaedic sales , ideally within hips, knees, or shoulders . Proven track record in both account management and new business development. Located in East London, Kent or Sussex Strong understanding of NHS and private healthcare procurement processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at all levels. Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and understanding of margins, P&L, and pricing. Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously. Degree-level education (Life Sciences preferred, but not essential).
