Excellent opportunity with one of our gold level client partners - (a leading global IT services organisation) are seeking an experienced
Pre-Sales Solution Architect
to join the Applications Engineering practice. This is a high-impact role working closely with sales and business development teams, helping shape and win major digital transformation opportunities.
A major focus will also be driving adoption of
AI-enabled capabilities throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) leading client conversations, showcasing offerings, delivering technical demonstrations, and evolving the organisations UK&I strategy for application modernisation and augmented engineering/GenAI in SDLC.

What you'll be doing
Lead the solution architecture stream in large-scale pre-sales engagements (RFx lifecycle, proposals, pitches).
Shape and present solutions in custom software, application modernisation, and digital architecture.
Drive conversations and demonstrations around AI-enabled tools in software engineering.
Define and evolve go-to-market strategies in application modernisation and AI in SDLC.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across architecture, engineering, platforms, and DevOps.
Produce clear technical documentation, solution designs, and client-facing material.
What you'll need
Proven track record as a
Solution Architect
in consultancy/client-facing roles within software development and cloud technologies.
End-to-end ownership of pre-sales solution architecture and RFx processes for deals over £5m (23 full cycles minimum).
Strong hands-on background in backend engineering/architecture (Java, C#, etc.)
Delivery of at least 2 AI-enabled solutions within the SDLC (automation, AI-powered coding/testing, app migration, etc.).
Broad technical architecture experience across multiple stacks and cloud platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead technical teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Exposure to DevOps/CI-CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
Knowledge of application security, monitoring, and quality engineering practices.
Experience working in global, matrixed IT service environments.
