Job Description
In this role as Sales Account Manager, you will drive ongoing strategic business growth initiatives and lead the continued development of a portfolio of strategic multi-site accounts across England. Your responsibilities include growing sales and building strong relationships with existing and new customers. Working with a team of technicians, product specialists, Information System specialists, and partners, you will be involved in the entire process from idea development and negotiation to delivery, engaging with stakeholders from C-level executives to implementers.
You will report to the Sales Manager End User Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) North EMEA.
Your Responsibilities:
- Focus on selling the Connected Enterprise, Rockwell Automation's portfolio covering all parts of automation, from smart machines and turn-key process solutions to safe network infrastructure and information solutions.
- Be a specialist within your area and part of our EMEA Consumer affinity team.
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers, including many in our Global Strategic and Enterprise accounts, as well as develop new customers.
- Develop strong, long-lasting relationships at customer sites up to C-level, within the ecosystem and industry.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, supported by a team of technical consultants, product specialists, industry specialists, and the solution delivery team, throughout all stages from initial presentation to delivery and follow-up.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Technical education and 5+ years of experience selling solutions to the Food & Beverage/Home Health Personal Care Industry or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivering sales results and meeting commitments.
- Ability to understand and discuss customers' business plans to develop their automation solutions.
- Experience engaging with decision makers such as Site Managers, EHS Managers, Operations Managers, and Engineering Managers.
- Ability to lead the Customer Service Value Chain throughout the sales cycle.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience in domains such as Industrial Automation, digital transformation, or cybersecurity solutions.
