A long-standing manufacturing business located in LS11 is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Administrator to join their office-based team. Working alongside a small, supportive group, you'll be part of a company that values forward-thinking and continuous improvement. Salary is set at £27,000.
About the Role
This position involves providing essential support to the sales department, overseeing internal order processes, and acting as a point of contact between customers and different areas of the business. It's well-suited to someone organised, proactive, and customer-focused.
Main Duties
Enter and process sales orders with accuracy and efficiency
Deal with incoming enquiries and ensure they are directed appropriately
Manage complaints and returns in a professional manner
Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure orders are correct and delivered on time
Assist with supplier questionnaires and simple production reports
Help with quality control checks and general administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
Strong communication and people skills
Comfortable using IT systems and handling customer calls
Able to work well with colleagues but also independently when required
Previous experience within manufacturing or packaging is advantageous but not essential
